Martin Luther’s protest Changed the Course of History
by Various script writers
GoodBookStall Review:
50th Anniversary Edition published 2003 now available in Christian Bookshops through Authentic Media, Code 4623D
This black and white film tells the story of Martin Luther from his choosing to leave University where he was studying law and entering the monastic life. The film was prodiuced by Lutheran Church productions, to inform US Lutherans about Luther and the foundation of their church. Great care was taken to make the story as accurate as possible and much work went into the carefully written script while the film was shot in Germany with as many authentic sites as they could find. The film gained Worldwide Distribution in 1953 and though still in black and white, has not lost any of its impact. It is well worth watching.
