30 Years that Changed the World
a fresh look at the book of Acts
by Michael Green
GoodBookStall Review:
First published as Acts for Today and published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1993, thanks are due to IVP for bringing it back into print for a new readership. This is not a commentary in the normal sense of that description. It is certainly Michael Green’s commentary to us. He shows how we should be reflecting the actions of those new, inexperienced, largely uneducated Christians, who in the space of a generation had spread the news of the gospel so widely, that nothing the world could throw at believers could dislodge their faith and stop their spreading it further. I did not read this when it was first published, and I am grateful for this second chance.
