A very simple telling of the Christmas story, using a lot of imagination. The old Ox who lives in the stable gives shelter to many creatures during a stormy night, till a couple with a donkey come seeking somewhere to rest. The old Ox offers to move out to make room for them, but in his weakness cannot break his tether, so the other animals go outside instead. In the morning a young baby lies in the straw and the Ox is glad to warm him with his breath as he had done for the animals the night before. When his master finally comes to see him, he acknowledges that this child will be the new master of us all.
