GoodBookStall Review:
Make believe letters between the writer of the Gospel of Luke, and a Roman civic leader and Nobleman lately retired to Pergamum to pursue his academic studies. Carefully phrased in the formal manner of the times, Antipas, the high born Roman, studies the two papers written by Luke and questions what he reads, becoming more involved with various Christians in Pergamum as the exchange of letters continues. The notes and appendices help to make the contents seem very real, but show how the whole is rooted in verifiable facts. Quite a different approach, but a very engrossing read.
