Jesus
A Novel
by Walter Wangerin
GoodBookStall Review:
There is plenty of scope for the imagination in the stories of Jesus in the Gospels, but Walter Wangerin has kept faithful to the Gospels and has only used his imagination to fill out the story. In doing so he has brought fresh light to familiar passages and given the reader much pause for thought. Mary the Mother of Jesus, Jesus himself, his disciples and the other people Jesus meets, come alive in a very real and plausible way. Once you start to read, you will have a problem putting this book down till you reach the end. Excellent.
