A Feast for Lent
by Delia Smith
GoodBookStall Review:
Delia Smith has made a very personal choice of the passages she uses for reflection in this book. Many are from the Old Testament but with those from the New Testament, they fit into her theme perfectly. Appreciation of her choice is shown in the many editions BRF have published, and the fact that many people use this book year after year, gaining fresh insights each time. Her reflections on the words quoted are thought provoking and helpful, while her choice of prayer for the end of each day seems exactly right.
