GoodBookStall Review:
This second edition includes completely new sections on dealing with tragic events such as September 11th and Soham.
Wendy Duffy writes with deep understanding of her subject, but at no time suggests that she knows all the answers. Already this title has helped many people, families and professionals, to a greater realisation of the understanding of young children, more than most of us give them credit for. As adults we are aware that death is part of everyday life, to a child it can be a jarring shock. Though they see it on TV it is not seen as something that can touch their own lives. This is well worth reading even if you don’t need help with the subject now. Who knows when the knowledge shared here, might support us through a difficult time?
