Yes, this is a made up story from the very few facts we know from the bible, but perhaps, just perhaps, this is how it was. It makes a good story and one you will want to read through at one sitting, but it is much more than that. Thom Lemmons has given us a picture of what life was like in those times. He shows how easy it was to forget the God of Israel and accept the gods of the people they lived amongst, and how only a few remember the one true God.
