A Season of Shadows
by Paul McCusker
GoodBookStall Review:
Bang! Right from the start you are thrown into a tragedy in the USA, and as you would expect this is not straightforward and is only the lead in to an exciting story of war time Britain in the 1940s. The young socialite widow of the first chapter is driven to find what lay behind her husband’s behaviour and death. It is all beyond her imagination and she is drawn into espionage and counter espionage resulting in her being shot. During her slow recovery she has time to think about her life and in time is able to accept the grace of God into her life. Gripping!
