Purpose driven youth ministry
9 essential foundations for healthy growth
by Doug Fields
GoodBookStall Review:
This book is truly a must for ALL those who work with teenagers. It stands out from the crowd because of it’s clarity and I believe it’s one of the few which attempts to get to grips with helping the youth worker develop a youth strategy. .Much advice is given and the whole context of the book is geared around building healthy teams and developing fundamental purposes of evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship. Following the advice of this book will certainly help your church to get to grips with planning effective youth work. So much so, this book is on the reading list of some youth work courses here in the UK. If you’re a youth worker, get hold of a copy, read it, and pass it onto your minister. If you’re a minister, get hold of a copy, read it, and pass it onto your youth worker(s).
