It didn’t take me many pages of this book to get emotionally involved with this re-telling of the Gospel story in modern times. Each chapter is a mirror of the individual Gospel stories, and the way it is told confronts you with the reality of what Jesus was teaching, as applied to our own lives. I usually have one book on the go downstairs, and another upstairs. This book I carried wherever I went, and dipped in as I could, till I reached the end. A powerful and inspirational book, told by an observer, cleverly, a sparrow, who gets nearly everywhere unnoticed by the humans around.
