GoodBookStall Review:
There is nothing like religious language to baffle the non church goer and even those engaged in serious study. This book helps out all. It is meant as a serious study of the fascinating language used in “God – talk”. The language we use and the language we understand are different in that the use is different and can mean vastly different things. The language of faith and religion is discussed in detail as is its function as a means of understanding. There are useful exercises interspersed with the narrative which allow us to pause, think and review our understanding of the language of religion and faith and worship. Part of the Exploring Faith cycle which so far, have all been worthwhile buys.
