As in previous years, this Lent book needs you to have your bible beside you, to see the readings for the day from the Lectionary. If you have no time for this, which would be a pity, the short quote at the start of each passage gives the feel of the thought for the day. ‘The six writers show that the call of the Gospel is to more than a life of private prayer, to more than the correct observance of rules and rituals. It invites a personal transformation…’ A pocket sized book that you can take with you anywhere, each reflection is followed by a Thought for the Day and a short Prayer.
